We're Headed to Nationals! NorStar 15s and 16s Punch Their Tickets to GJNC!

That’s right! We’re headed to Nationals — times two! 

Get ready to cheer, NorStar Nation! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that both our 16-1 and 15-1 teams have qualified for the 2025 Girls Junior National Championship (GJNC)! The hard work, dedication, and sheer talent of these incredible athletes and their coaches have paid off in a big way, and we couldn't be prouder.

Our 16-1 team has consistently demonstrated their prowess on the court throughout the season. They've notched impressive top 10 finishes at major events like NorCal Winter Classic, Power League, and Red Rock Rave (USA Division), showcasing their ability to compete at the highest level. Their journey culminated in a fantastic 3rd place finish at the Far Westerns (USA Division), securing their well-deserved spot at Nationals. Congratulations, 16-1!

Not to be outdone, our 15-1 squad is also having an outstanding season thus far. They've proven their mettle with top 10 finishes as well at NorCal Winter Classic and Red Rock Rave (USA Division). Their consistent performance in Power League, highlighted by a strong 2nd place finish in Power League 3 (Gold Division), set the stage for their incredible run at Far Westerns. They battled fiercely and earned an impressive 2nd place (USA Division), punching their ticket to Nationals! Way to go, 15-1!

This is more than just a milestone. It’s a monumental achievement for our club, and it speaks volumes about the commitment and passion of our players, coaches, and the entire NorStar Volleyball family. In our very first season as a new program, 2 out of our 4 teams have already earned their place on the national stage, and we’re not done yet!

The Race Continues:

Our 14-1 and 13-1 teams are heading into Power League Regionals with one goal in mind: a shot at joining their teammates at Nationals. After impressive finishes at Far Westerns — placing 5th and 7th in their respective divisions — both teams remain in the mix for a potential bid, adding even more NorStar firepower to the Nationals lineup.

What’s Next:

It’s safe to say our teams are turning heads across every age group. From national bids to breakout performances, our athletes are proving what’s possible when you trust the process and stay committed to growth every step of the way. We’re rounding out our season with Regionals, AAU, and of course, Nationals! We’re proud of what we've been able to achieve thus far in our first year, and even more excited for what’s ahead.
