2026 JVA National AthLeader: Back-to-Back Honors for NorStar

The NorStar Volleyball community is incredibly excited to share some wonderful news from the national stage! MollyAnn Caulfield, from our NorStar 17-1 team, has been selected as one of only 25 student-athletes across the entire country to receive the prestigious 2026 JVA AthLeader Award, powered by VKTRY Performance Insoles.
This highly selective national honor recognizes elite junior volleyball players who understand that success is not defined by wins alone. It celebrates student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional volleyball performance alongside academic excellence, leadership, responsibility, and service to their communities.
MollyAnn’s selection is a true reflection of the character, discipline, and drive she brings to the court, the classroom, and her community every single day. In the official announcement, JVA Executive Director Lisa Wielebnicki shared what sets this year's recipients apart:
"These 25 student-athletes have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to leadership, academics, service, and personal growth while continuing to pursue excellence on the court. They are the students asking thoughtful questions, leading by example, supporting their teammates, and finding ways to make a positive impact in their schools and communities. We are proud to celebrate these athletes for the character, discipline, and integrity they bring to everything they do.”
To anyone who has watched MollyAnn play or work behind the scenes, that description sounds exactly like her. Her dedication, humility, and unwavering commitment to excellence continue to inspire her teammates, coaches, and the entire NorStar family.
A Tradition of Excellence: Back-to-Back National Recognition
We are especially proud to note that this marks the second year in a row that a NorStar athlete has been selected for this prestigious national award. Earning back-to-back recognition at this level speaks volumes about the high caliber, leadership, work ethic, and integrity cultivated within our program.
While we are celebrating MollyAnn’s individual milestone, this moment also shines a light on our entire club culture. We know there are many NorStar athletes who are equally deserving of national recognition like this. The truth is, the very character, leadership, and heart that the JVA celebrates are qualities we see every single day in our gyms, in our huddles, and in the way our athletes carry themselves everywhere they go. MollyAnn's selection puts a well-deserved spotlight on one phenomenal leader, but it serves as a proud reflection of all of our athletes.
