2025 Season Recap, 2026 Teams, Coaches, Programs & More!

Hey NorStar Families and Future Athletes,

Get ready to feel the thunder! Last season, NorStar Volleyball didn't just step onto the court, we BURST onto the national scene, leaving a trail of championship victories and unforgettable moments. This wasn't just a debut; it was a declaration that NorStar is here to build champions and redefine excellence in volleyball!

🏆 OUR INCREDIBLE 2025 SEASON - A LEGACY FORGED! 🏆

In our very first year, our athletes showcased unparalleled grit, talent, and heart, bringing home TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS and making a resounding impact across the country:

• AAU National Champions: Our 13-1 and 14-1 teams excelled at the AAU Girls Junior National Volleyball Championship in Orlando, both securing national titles! 

• AAU Open Top Ten Finish: Our 15-1 team also achieved an impressive top 10 finish in the U15 Open Division at the AAU Girls Junior National Volleyball Championship and our 16-1 team finished 2nd in their Division!

• GJNC Top Finishes: Our 16-1 team earned their bid for GJNC by placing 3rd at Far Western National Qualifier moving on to finish 2nd in their Division at GJNC. Our 15-1 team also earned their bid for GJNC by placing 2nd at Far Western National Qualifier and landed the 2nd place spot in their Division at GJNC.  

  
  

We also achieved multiple top 10 finishes at major tournaments including Red Rock Rave and NorCal Winter Classic, and had strong performances across Power League, including multiple gold bracket placements. Not bad for a brand-new club! 

But it’s more than just wins and results.

It’s the growth we saw in our athletes, the relationships formed between teammates and coaches, and the confidence that carried players beyond the court. That’s what makes this special and that’s what we’re building on in 2026.

We're building on this incredible momentum! For the 2026 season, NorStar is expanding our powerhouse program to five dynamic teams, led by our elite coaching lineup committed to maximizing every athlete's potential. Get ready for expanded training opportunities designed to cultivate the next generation of volleyball stars!

We're thrilled to announce our dedicated coaching staff for the upcoming season:

• 17-1: Head Coach – Coach Simo | Assistant – Coach Jessica & Coach Megan

• 16-1: Head Coach – Coach Nova | Assistant – TBA

• 15-1: Head Coach – Coach Simo | Assistant – Coach Bobby

• 14-1: Head Coach – Coach Nova | Assistant – Coach Bobby

• 13-1: Head Coach – Coach Jessica | Assistant – Coach Aaron
