We're excited to share some big news: NorStar Volleyball has a new home!
This season, our teams will train at Apex Sports & Courts in Belmont, a new volleyball-focused facility that's proud to be the Home of NorStar Volleyball.
Why this matters
Since our first season, NorStar has grown fast: national-level results, back-to-back JVA AthLeader Awards and a second-place finish at the 2026 USAV Girls Junior National Championships. Like many clubs, we've done it while moving between gyms and working around limited court time.
That changes now. Apex gives our teams a more consistent and dedicated home for practices this season. And with three courts available, our athletes will have even more opportunities, including:
- Additional practice opportunities
- More positional and small-group training
- More scrimmages and competitive play
- Additional clinics and skill development
- Fewer schedule changes and disruptions throughout the season
Built for volleyball
Apex has three volleyball courts with sport-specific flooring and net systems. It's a space designed for the way we train: focused, hands-on and built around every athlete's development.
More than a gym
A home court is a long-term commitment to our athletes, our families and the Bay Area volleyball community. It's a place where our players can grow, compete and feel like they belong. We limit the number of athletes, not the level of attention, and now we have the space to give every athlete even more of it.
